This month we are going to look at what the Pin-Pals are about. In December we meet on the 18th 9-3 at the Butterworth Educational Center (garage) We will be meeting the 4th Tuesday of each month starting January 2019.
Winter is setting in, which means less getting out to be around friends. It is important that we keep in touch and get out among people when roads are good. We stay happier when we are able to do that. Let’s stand against the gloominess of winter and enjoy fellowship with others whenever possible. Hibernation is for bears, not humans.
This is a newer sit and sew that is varied in the different projects that people are doing. Bring whatever you want to work on, your machine, tools, and a sack lunch. Everyone is welcome to come and sew, but since the Lisa Binkley classes, we have people who are beading on their work. That group of beaders decided to get together monthly.
This is the perfect place with enough table space for everyone to sit at. Faye and I invited them to join us at PinPals. Anyone who loves to or would like to explore the option of embellishing with beads is welcome to work on their beading projects. We enjoy each other’s sewing/beading stories, laughter, good conversation, and eating with friends.
This would be a great time to finish up those UFOs, old class projects, start something new or out of the box.You can sew, bead, hand stitch, cross stitch, knit, or anything that you feel comfortable taking out of the house to spend time with others this winter as well as year round. It doesn’t have to be a bulky sewing machine if you are not comfortable carrying it. It is just important to get out once in a while.
Here’s to seeing you December 18th and next year!
