Remember to attach a hanging sleeve to your quilts, especially larger ones.
Instructions are, “Construct a tube from a 10” wide piece of fabric (does not have to match backing) that is 5” less than the width of the quilt.
Machine hem the 10” sides, then sew a ¼” seam along the long edge, WRONG sides together. Press, centering the long seam.
Firmly baste the top and bottom edges of the sleeve to the back of the quilt, approx. 2” from each side.
If your quilt is longer than 90”, the location of the sleeve must be no more than 90” from the BOTTOM of the quilt.” Click here for instructions, or go to our website for them.
