The 2018 MVQG Quilt Show Challenge will focus on the theme of Sun, Moon, and/or Stars in a quilt piece. Traditional, modern, or art techniques can be employed. No size requirement. Quilt must tie in to any one, or two, or all three aspects of the theme.
For JUDGED Quilt Show Entries: Please compare the entry number on your comment sheet(s) to the entry number on the blue hang tag or your registration form and verify that the comment sheets you received are actually yours. We have had a few reports of sheets inadvertently placed in incorrect envelopes. If you have someone else’s comment sheet, please contact Faye Kunz (563)323-3593.

Remember to attach a hanging sleeve to your quilts, especially larger ones. Instructions are, “Construct a tube from a 10” wide piece of fabric (does not have to match backing) that is 5” less than the width of the quilt. Machine hem the 10” sides, then sew a ¼” seam along the long edge, WRONG sides together. Press, centering the long seam.
