Farm Fiber Fun 2019


May 16-21, 2019 A time to get together with others and learn new fibery techniques. Especially anything messy such as dying fabrics with many techniques, mono printing with gelli plates or glass base, stamping, etc. Also things such as felting, tatting, sculpting features for fiber figures, wool, and weaving. President’s May Message


The Fiber Arts group was a vision of a group quilters who wanted to expand into the art quilt techniques.  There were approximately 12 people, led by Colleen Curry, who were the first to attend the group on a consistent basis 10 years ago.  It has grown to a regular attendance of approximately 30.  They welcome any fiber media, including fabric, thread, yarn, paper, wood, beads, roving, etc. and the techniques that can incorporate them into an art quilt, including […]

Meetings are held at the Davenport Public Library at 300 N.
