2019 MVQG Challenge-Wine and Chocolate


The theme for the 2019 MVQG Challenge is Wine and Chocolate. Specific rules are $1.00 entry fee per challenge. Quilts must be no larger than 144 inches in circumference. You may use both wine and chocolate or either one. Bring your challenge to the Sept meeting. They will be displayed and voted on at the meeting that night. Charity Goes Global


By Donna & Garry Lanman Let me tell you a story. Our first granddaughter, Joy, moved jobs from a bank in Chicago to Samaritan’s Purse in Boone, NC. She works with the Children’s Heart Project. This project transports children needing heart surgery to participating hospitals that donate their services. During orientation, Joy was shown a cabinet of “blankets.” In reality, they were quilts.
